Socioeconomic status influences the danger and phase of penile cancer tumors

Low academic level, low disposable earnings, being divorced or never married, and staying in a single-person home all boost the threat of advanced phase penile cancer, in accordance with research that is brand new.

The findings result from a register that is population-based including guys in Sweden clinically determined to have penile cancer tumors between 2000 and 2012 (1676 guys) and arbitrarily chosen settings (9872 guys). There was clearly no association between socioeconomic status and deaths being cancer-related indicating that management will not differ between social groups.

The findings are published in BJU International.
