Minimal doses of common cancer tumors drug might market cancer spread

New research shows that paclitaxel, that is the most commonly used chemotherapy for breast cancer, suppresses tumors when given at a dosage that's certain but at low doses, it actually encourages cancer spread to your liver.

The findings claim that bringing down the dose of paclitaxel to reduce toxic side-effects just isn't a method that is safe.

"Paclitaxel and its analogous substances are the line that is first widely found in medical cancer chemotherapy. Nonetheless, prospective dangers and therapy that is reasonable of paclitaxel are widely investigated," wrote the writers of The FEBS Journal study.
